Siaap : Wastewater treatment
SIAAP own and manage the largest waste water treatment plant in Europe, located at Acheres in the Northwest suburbs of Paris. This plant collects and processes all the waste water from the whole of Paris and its suburbs - a population of around 10 million.
42 Panorama Licenses monitor and control 40,000 variables from a variety of Schneider Group PLCs and Optic Fisher controllers. The system is used to monitor and control the waste water collection, its processing at Acheres and the discharge of clean water back into the River Seine.
Around 800,000 records per day are transferred in real-time to MS SQL Server database, which provides long term data storage, production reports, forecasting, pollution control and maintenance facilities.
