| PANORAMA SCADA Software is now available to run with the latest " TabletPC " style laptops | |||

Europ Supervision, one of the major players in the industrial IT market, presents a new edition of PANORAMA SCADA Software for use under Microsoft Windows XP for " TabletPC ". Based on a laptop PC, the TabletPC comprises of an electro-magnetic screen which uses a special pen, equipped with an electronic nib and rubber, like a pointer in stead of, and replacing, the keyboard. Thanks to an embedded WiFi/802.11 wireless link, a PANORAMA based SCADA application loaded onto the Tablet PC can connect directly to an industrial data acquisition server. It then presents in real-time, the animated graphical mimics with the navigation being done by clicking with the pen on the relevant active-points on the screen. The operator can change the values, handle alarms and analyze the process history. PANORAMA can automatically send you an email via your TabletPC, triggered by an alarm or event, in order to warn you of any impending situations. Without the need of a mouse or a keyboard, the operator can carry his SCADA under his arm and run it at the touch of a pen. |
