		Biometric SCADA

		Because of the extra requirements needed in the nuclear and pharmaceutical industries, the PANORAMA SCADA Software enables each industry's regulatory requirements that governs the manufacturing quality to be met. In particular in meeting the US Food & Drugs Administration (FDA) requirements " CFR 21 part 11 ". From the operators management to the encrypted data storage using an electronic signature, within PANORAMA there are the necessary mechanisms and functions which allow the client to obtain the necessary industrial certification for the installation. In order to take this a stage further, PANORAMA version 8.0 now integrates the use of biometric technologies. That's to say, the software now allows the use of biometric keyboards which allow physical identification of the users. An operator only has to place his finger on the capacitive part of the keyboard in order to be immediatly recognised. This function has been integrated in such a way to make the PANORAMA user management automatically authenticate each individual action. Equally, the keyboard can be used to identify an operator by a card with a microchip or a USB key.
