Panorama.XTrend
Delivered as an option to Panorama version 8, Panorama.Xtrend
is a very powerful graphical tool for extracting and displaying data that
is stored in a SQL Server 2000 database.
(available
as an option for PANORAMA v8.0)
Main uses
Panorama.Xtrend is for those who wish to use a graphical tool that is
far more powerful than those available within standard SCADA products
so that they can analyse their data in much more detail.
Regarding Panorama, this tool goes much further that the integrated "Pegase"
module.
It is particularly well suited to extracting data that come from long-term
archives into graphical trends and histograms.
It gives the user the ability to access the data via the company Intranet
directly from the office workstations running Internet Browsers.
Panorama.Xtrend gives access to any data stored in a Microsoft SQL Server
200 relational database. This data can come from Panorama or from any
other system, which can be accessed and analysed equally well with the
same tool.
Solution
Delivered in the form of an ActiveX component, Panorama.Xtrend runs as
part of the SCADA application under the control of the scripts within
Panorama or from Visual Basic. Panorama stores the data on event into
the SQL Server relational database via its SQL interface. It accesses
the application variables and generates automatic requests to the SQL
archives in order to view the data in the form of trends or bar graphs.
Advantages
The analysis functions are extremely powerful and flexible.
The data is archived in a non proprietary format directly in the company's
standard office information systems.
The analysis application is very user configurable.
The analysis can be done equally well from Panorama SCADA workstations
or from office workstations running Internet Browsers. |
