Panorama.P²
A
Real-time SCADA Tool for Industry
Panorama is a SCADA Software Package
that has an easy-to-use, high performance Man-Machine Interface used for
monitoring and controlling any type of real time installation in any of
the following sectors:
- industrial
production processes
- Utility/facility management (heating, electricity, gas,
water, effluent,
)
- Building management (lighting, ventilation, security, fire detection,
access protection,
)
- Environment :
Water treatment
(Drinking Water, wastewater)
Incineration
Anti-pollution
- Test facilities
- Telemetry applications
Panorama
is well liked due to the number of runtime features delivered as standard
such as :
- Data acquisition (accurate to 1ms)
- Animated graphical views
- Security features (for system access and for control)
- Alarm handling and presentation features (one of the best modules
available on the market today!)
- Archiving, Event logging
- Data display via Real-time trend charts and data tables
- Historical data display and analysis tools
- Real-time calculations and automatic scripting features
- Programable schedules for events and scripts
- Recipe management
- RDBMS (SQL) Integration (Relational Database Management Systems)
for the factory and enterprise information systems
- Web, Lite Terminal and Thin Client Integration new technologies
that allow easy integration of local, remote and mobile services
- Redundancy support (increases the system availability)
In order
to offer solutions that are totally scalable in terms of size and complexity
for any application, PANORAMA is offerd not as a series of licenses but
through a unique philosophy of proven, "ready-to-buy" architectures.
There are twenty or so solutions called "getPanorama.net"
on offer; arranged in the following catagories; and presented in The
SCADA Book :
- "Lite" Architectures for smaller applications
- "Main" Architectures for medium to large applications
- "Internet" Architectures for applications that require the
data to be viewed through standard internet browsers
- "Terminal Server" Architectures for those wishing to use Lite
Shopfloor Terminals, or standard PC terminals via an industrial network.
- "Large-Scale" Architectures
These architectures
are available with version 8.
Panorama.v8 is certified for use with Windows XP Professional.
Configuration Tools
All of Panorama's features are configured using
an ergonomic development workshop designed specifically for non
programmers.Panorama.Studio is based upon simply
using the mouse and interactive dialogue boxes.
A real
Project Management tool, Panorama Studio, has the same
look and feel as Microsoft Explorer. It is designed to be intuitive,
simple and friendly through the use of tree structures, context based
menus, through the use of the right-hand mouse key features and through
the use of drop 'n' drag and cut / paste functions, etc... The development
workshop integrates object maipulation by allowing the configurable
parameters of an object to be configured on a global or local basis. Objects
built from Generic Models are constructed dynamically at runtime through
the use of "Instanciators". Any object can be duplicated
in the form of a "linked" object in any place throughout the application.
Any modification made to the model object (parent) is immediately made
to each duplicate copy (child).
Get more from your applications ...
The power of Panorama Studio allows you to make more of the functions
and objects that have already been built, either within the same application
or from ones previously configured. You are able to copy / paste objects
such as an alarm, a piece of equipment, a valve, a complete view or even
an entire application! The configurations can be run immediately
in runtime without the need for any modification. Using this philosophy,
Panorama's development workshop comes complete with a catalogue of more
than 2000 objects that are instantantly available for use with your
application. These ready-To-run " rTr " objets come
complete with their graphical aminations and scripts pre-configured. They
are designed in a generic manner so that they can simply be dropped into
any place in your application and will immediately be run.
